Slida 0.2.7 has a working Windows build.
Windows was a good target for this pass. We had the hardware and software to test it, and the Rust and Tauri build process for a Windows application is reasonably well defined. The build is working, and testing it on desktops with different display resolutions surfaced scaling issues that still need attention.
Each operating system is asking for more work than I expected. Device access behaves differently across platforms. Installation and updates each have their own lifecycle. I wish oneAPI had become the common path we hoped for, but it has not removed this platform-specific work.
The Microsoft Store adds another set of questions around distribution, pricing, and licensing. We are working through how subscriptions, licenses, and seats fit together in that setting. I think users will be happy with the blend we are shaping, but these are commercial design decisions, not new purchase terms in 0.2.7.
For now, the Windows build is an engineering build. The resolution and Store questions are part of the work ahead of broader availability.
